My Yoga Journey
After I had my children, I found that pregnancy, childbirth, and carrying children on my hip, left me with severe lower back pain and sciatica. I tried many types of treatment, but nothing really worked or lasted. It wasn't until I began yoga that my back pain began to ease. Yoga is now part of my daily life and my journey has allowed me to live in a more grounded way coupled with more energy, strength, peace and an overall improvement in my health and well being.
I am a qualified yoga teacher, with a passion for helping people with back pain, teaching private yoga classes in the neighbouring areas of the TW postcodes: Richmond, Twickenham, Kew, Hampton, Brentford and Isleworth. II trained with Yogahaven and have a Registered Yoga Teacher qualification (RYT200) which is recognised by Yoga Alliance.

Back Pain
Fixing your back pain is not just about doing a few stretches here and there, it's actually more about a shift in lifestyle and how you use your body overall; how you sleep with it; how you walk with it; how you sit and eat with it.
Back pain is usually caused by either overuse or underuse of the spine. So after an assessment of your needs I would tailor a package of care, with a mix of stretching, strengthening and relaxation techniques, to help alleviate your back pain, which you can also practice in your own time.

About Me
I also have 20 years experience in the field of mental health, and as anxiety and stress can sometimes be the root cause of our pain, I can explore this with you too, and help you understand where you might be carrying these heavy emotions within your body.

Services
You don't have to have back pain for me to teach you. Yoga is for everyone, and it's not about being able to touch your toes.
I teach Vinyasa, Yin, Power, Mandala and Restorative flows. I have my own private studio space and can offer group sessions with your family/friends.
